carb got my confused

so I have never really had problems with my carb before. Now all of a sudden if the bike is idiling and I stab the throtle to full throttle it bogs out and dies. If I roll the throttle on to full then it won't bog out. I took it apart cleaned it and found a little pice of dirt. Thought maybe that was the problem but it still does it. I have cleaned it 3 times now. Any suggestions.

what mods do you have done to the bike? what jetting you running?

When mine did that I just leaned out the needle and it fixed it right up.

just running stock pipe and air box lid off

Mine was doing that - I drained the gas and filled it back up and it's good to go. I hadn't ran it completely empty in probably 6-8 months...

with the air box lid off, you do want to go up a size or two on the mainjet.
