I was going to take my a-arms off and paint them, but I tore the grease boot getting the first one off the spindle. I went to the service honda website and it looks like I have to buy a new a-arm to get the boot and pivot piece. I drove it off with a fork like you would a car. What ways have worked for you? The boot is mostly gone and the pivot piece is very exposed. Is it worth getting a new arm? Thanks for the help. CJ

If it can't be fixed then yes replace it brown,,you don't wanna be hammerin down a trail in 5th gear and have a ball joint snap,,cuz your bones will probably be snappin too...:D Repalce it man,,be safe..:blah

you should just get all new a-arms altogether, like roll design or lonestar.

That's a good idea but I just spent $1200 on elka shocks. $35 for a stock one compared to $400-$600 for aftermarket looks pretty good. CJ

don't ride it broken, replace it with something, one of my buddies rolled his raptor at about 35 mph when his ball joint let loose, the craptor was only 2 weeks old!! He bit the dirt hard and lost a lot of skin, it's not worth risking it, the tumble will tear your quad up pretty good too
