Ummmm what year and what application???

The 350 has been used for over 30 years and so many different vehicles. The HP has varied for each. Since you said vortec, I'd assume you mean a truck... what year? They stopped using it around 1999-2000 model trucks.

they only make a 5.7 in a corvette and its 350hp
05'vetts have 405 hp

the old 5.7 liters in a truck like in a 1500
are around 200-210 hp
not that much hp till like 99 and newer

Our '97 Tahoe had a 5.7L Vortec in it and I believe it was rated at 255hp.

From 88 to 98 where 5.7 EFI engines were in truck it varried from 225 to 285 HP


and the 8.1 has 345hp not 330

The 6.0 in a truck had 300 for 99 for 00 and 01 330hp for 02 on 315 hp!


at least those are the #'s chevy claims

for 04 chevy dropped hp in the 8.1 and 6.0 liter

the vortec was used by chevy in trucks from 96-98...it had 255 hp. That is the only years the the 350 was a vortec in the trucks

Oh I didn't not know that. My is a 2001 345 HP rating!
