put 450 shock on 400

hey guys i got my 450r shock the other day and put it on the 400.
I know everybodys been sayin not to but owell i got a deal. So far i havnt gotten to do any really rough ridin but i have jumped it and i am impressed. It def. doesnt bottom as easy as the stock shock. But i donno..well see how it handles with the 400 linkage/setup when i hit the whoops tomorow...

We did a slight bit of grinding on a buddies 400ex and we got the front shocks to slide right in, and they worked great. But we tried to slide the rear shock in and I didnt think there was anyway to do it, how did u get the rear in??

It was no problem gettin the rear in...I had it up on an atv jack, lifted it up a little bit and bolted it right up without a problem. I didnt get a chance to try it on the whoops today but i rode it at a construction site and noticed it did buck a little bit if you hit bumps with some speed..nothin a little adjustin cant fix tho
