It looks like there is a new eBay scam out there, I don't know if anyone else has seen this or it's been posted, but I'll put it up here just in case. Supposedly the owner sends you an e-mail asking you to update your account information, but if you look you can obviously tell it's fake because of the different addresses it sends it to (ones that are very close to yours, so it's obviously not just pointed towards you) and in the subject field it says "Please Update Your eBay Information cqjjthzzzivobcjsyklbimtop".

Here is what the e-mail says:

Dear eBay member ,

During our regular and verification of the accounts we couldn't verify your current information, either your information Has changed or it is incomplete . if the account is not updated to current information within 5 days then , your access to Buy or Sell on eBay will be restricted

Go to the link below to Update your account information :

http://signin.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?SignIn&ssPageName=h:h:sin:US

please dont reply to this email as you will not receive a response

Thank You for using eBay!

http://www.eBay.com

It asks to update your credit or debit card, so it's an obvious scam to get your account number to steal money.

Just thought I'd give a heads up in case some people run into this.
