15-39 gearing?

I believe stock gearing is 15-38 right? Does anybody run 15-39? I was thinking I would like to get a little more low end, but I think running a 14t front would be too low of gearing for me. I like the stock gearing, but would like to just move the powerband just a little lower if that makes sense to you guys? Would this work o.k. and has anyone tried it before? Also, what 39t rear should I get. Money isn't really a big deal, I just want the best. Renthal maybe? THanks.

I never did it, but theres no reason you can't.

Going up 1 tooth on the rear will give you a little more low end power. Not as much as a 14th front, but you already know that...

As to which one to get? Renthal seems like a good choice, or any other steel one. I don't care for aluminum ones to much just cause they seem to wear out faster.
