Changing main jet whats involved?

I am going to put the hrc endcap on my 450r and I am also going to take the lid off the airbox and install a k&N airfilter with an outerware. I plan on starting with a 170 main, my questions is how do I ghange it....is it under the cap that takes a 17mm wrench?????

Loosen your two clamps and twist the carb sideways. It makes it a little easier to get to.

I'm putting everything from the HRC kit on, except the cam, now. I am wondering about changing the needle myself. Should the clip go in the same position on the new needle as stock?
