Just curious, has anyone ever stuffed a cr/kx500 engine
into a Blaster? Is there room enough?
With 2strokes on there way out I'm thinking it would
be wise to buy a 250 and 500 engines from service honda
now before its to late. I'd rather walk than ride a 4stroke
LOL.......

YOU'D rather walk?
that has to be the dumbest thing ive ever heard!!
do you ride in 2 stroke cars?
get a good pair of walking shoes cause youre going to need em'
i guess you take a 2 stroke bus to school everyday too huh?
i dont know how old you are but im guessing 14 or 15 because thats stupid
seriously though buy those 2 motors cause thats a good idea lol

i havent seen it before but peope have stuffed cr500 engines in 250r's and thats a tight fit it can be done but it would rattle like hell, you would get off the bike and still be rattleing, unless ya really really know what your doing, ive heard that people who stuff cr500 engines in 250r ATC's that they rattle like hell, just warning you

Shocker, thanks. I realize the teeth falling out of
the head syndrome, maybe some leaf spring bushings
cut to fit would tame this a little. I use to own
2 lt500s so I understand, I had to buy a 2004 Blaster
my only choice in 2strokes besides a shee.

i have seen yz250 motors in a blaster, as well as a old yz490. the 250 seems fairly easy actually, but i think the 490 reqired more cutting on the frame than i would want for a trail bike, seemed a more drag only swap

Thanks Bradley. I know Macdizzy did a yz250 Blaster
but its no longer on his site. I'm most likely
going to pipe it and port & polish it for now,
I'm just thinking future tence.

i know that trenga, and ct for sure both make 40 hp. 240 kits, and there are other small companies like cp customs that make very fast blasters, so you might want to check them out once your cyl. has run out. thats what i'm doing at least, i'll use the stock cyl. until there are no overbores left, and then go BIG and fast:devil:

ive seen a CR500 in a KFX frame and a YZ250 engine in a blaster frame that looked pretty cool the only hard part would be the radiotor(sp):)
