Have a question about my 300EX

I was wondering if I could get a cover for the exhaust right after if comes out of the engine? Like right where you put your right leg. 400EX's have them on, but 300EX's don't and it is pretty easy to burn your leg. I already melted my Thor riding pants a little bit. Actually, it ain't to bad for me, but if I take someone a ride or something, they can burn their leg really easy!!! Some help would be appreciated!! ;):)

Back in the day, I used automotive header wrap to insulate the pipe on mine. It wasn't the prettiest of ideas but it worked.

Yea, I think that DG makes exhaust covers. One of my friend's has it on his quad. Works great! I burned my pants on my 300ex TOO!

hey, on my 99 300 i put a White Bros full exhaust and i have the same problem. I am consitantly burning my opants on the header. You are able to get a Maier heat guard from Rocky Mountain atv but it doesnt look the greatest.
