Ice race.....

anyone on here ever ice race? i was going to last year...since winter is so boreing, but i was rebuilding the quad.

now that i have a quad that works i was thinking about ice racin.....

kool... i mean i dont ice race i slide across lakes and do donuts till it cracks. but it seems fun to be on ice racing. where you located that has ice racing around you?

i live in plattsburgh ny, and in saranac lake they have some ice races (about a hour away from here)

NO I don't ice race but we went & watched them last year & it WAS AWESOME!! If they come here again this year I WILL RACE IT!!! WE didn't realize amatuers could race until the day of & didn't have time to prep the quad. Quadjunkies did a race in Id. this last winter she said it was fun!!

Let me know if you find out about any ice races in our area.
I wouldn't mind giving it a try! It sounds like a lot of fun. :cool:

local shops have them. my local shop gave me 2 bags for free to use cuz we were gonna look into it really. but your local dealer should have them

Its ALOT harder than I thought it would be !!!!The guys that I know who are locals who done the whole series said its harder and with studs its tougher to slide than if just flattrackin, The quads take quite a beaten out ther too so plan on spendy some cash if you want to do a series.....
I remeber in this series, you had to buy THERE studs only......

Glad you thew that link in there I coudln't remember it for nothing!!! It got wiped out when my puter geeked!! I was gonna give him the link to purchase studs!!
