what do yall think about a 16 tooth front sprocket for drag racing. i have one with the 416 kit and hotcam and stuff and not goin to fast like 64 to 66 mph. i was thinkin the 16 tooth sprocket made like 4th and 5th gear longer so i cant get to the top speed before its over. should i go back to a 15 tooth or put on diff rear sprocket

the land your dragging on will make a big difference. in sand, you will want lower gearing. on a road, the 16 should be good. i had good luck with mine. also, make sure your throttle cable is adjusted properly. if there is too much slack in it, the bike will be slower than it should be by quite a bit. jetting makes a difference too...

On a hard surface a 400 with a 16t front will smoke the same bike w/a 15 tooth.

But in sand, mud, loose dirt, the 16t is too high for dragging.

i would just stick with the 15 unless its a pretty long drag strip
