I e-mailed Lazarus Sommers regarding 450r cams, here is his reply:
There is much more to it than those numbers alone. The actual profile can give a cam with less lift and duration more average flow under the curve and as such may make more power. However even if we know the profile, we still don't know how it will work with a given setup unless we test it with that setup. I am very happy with the HRC cam but will be testing others soon.
Sounds like a cam shoot out is in order - I can supply the dyno, the quad, the 02 cr cam as well as the HRC and both Hotcams if some one wants to bring the others, a camera, and a journalist to help make this a good shootout. August 7th or August 28th is open right now.
