I have heard many different ways but I was curious what the most popular method is ie... glue or no glue wire or no wire etc...

I will be putting spider grips on Tag T2 bars.

Thanks

I usually use wd 40 to get the grip on, then use safety wire.. and let it dry and I dont have problems... Just as long as you use safely wire...

A little bit of soap and water. Or you can use grip glue. I don't always use safety wire though, only if it's loose.

3M weatherstrip adhesive. Works like a charm and the grips don't budge. Thank Jeff@quadshop for this info.

I have been using 3M weathersrtip adhesive for 15 years now. It works pretty good but I have had it slip loose two times over all those years. Not too bad.

I just wet it with a little straight water and muscle it on. I tried soapy water once and it was a lot easier to get on but every time it was wet out they would move. Now its just straight water and it never moves...

Why bother payin an extra $10 for a tube of grip glue that says Honda. Just buy some grip glue at your local shop.

i like to use safty wire grip glue is to much of a pain to get back off when you need to put new grips on cause you have to cut the grips off then there is usually some grip still on that you have to scrape off

throw some grip glue on the bar....than put the grip on really fast.

Spray the handle bar with brake clean(where the grip is gonna be) and slid the grips on. Let them sit for a little while, and they won't go anywhere;)

Im running tag t-2's and i used to run glue, but i decided that if i use saftey wire glue is just a waste of money, So i use three rings of saftey wire on each grip and iv never had a problem!!!!!
