I bought a set of elkas, And now that they are about one year old, One of my front shocks the tension nut is siezed tight, and i cant hardley move it with two adjustment tools. I meen after every wash i tried to spray some PB Blaster on both the Nut, and the Adjustment screws. Does anyone know what i can do about this. It doesnt sound all that bad, Except my quad is sorta sitting a little tall. and i just cant adjust it! I apprecieate any help thanks markk

So is it the preload ring thats stuck of the locking set screws?

It was the pre-load ring, Actully the Elkas where from the quadshop! Do u think that i would be able to order a new ring, and cut that one off, or should i send them into elka?? or ???

No secerets, I know I can get them off one way or another. Worst case the rings would need to be replaced but they are inexpensive.
