best ignition location!?

I'm wanting to get some new handlebars.... tag maybe... but i don't know where to put the ignition. where's the best spot to relocate so it's easy to get to and still looks good? thanks alot guys

I just drilled two holes in the stock hood up by the handlebars and relocated the key switch and light. I can still reach the key and see the light. The only problem I can see possibly happening is a rock or tree limb hitting the key and turning it off or breaking it

hey trick450r....wat do u make those relocaters out of?im thinking about buying one...and will it work with an aftermarket steering stem and clamp? cuz i cant really see how it bolts up in your pics. let me know cuz im interested

I got wire clamps full round the sizes of the key switch and coolant light from home depot, and mounted them pretty much the same place as the clamp you are selling but on the mount where the steering stem mounts to.

its made of aluminum and it bolts to the existing frame....which would mean a aftermarket stem and clamp doesent matter....i think the prices have changed also it is $28.50 shipped for normal black and $33.50 shipped for polished ! it comes with all hard ware and mounting intructions and it looks very trick at the track.........last weekend some guy was checkin out my quad and that was the first thing he noticed, believe me track or trail it turns head especially polished!!!

Did you look at the trailtech bars with the clamp? I beleive it has a spot for the key and it looks pretty dam good to!

i dont believe it has a spot for a key....i was going to buy one of those!

I installed the trail tech set-up tonight the stem cover has a spot for your ignition and temp. light. Bought direct from trail tech $133.90 3-day shipping to my door. Cheaper than TAG

How do you like the trailtech setup? Do you also have the bars? They need to make the clamp with the speedo and hid lights all in one shot that would be sweet.Just as long as it fits a different stem later on.

lol.. completely stole my dad's idea =p.. we did that polished alluminum bracket the first night I ever got my 450r. Changed the bars and did that instantly. Here's a pic..

You guys with that Spamwerks relocator do you order it right from that web site or call I tryed to call a couple times and could not get through

uhgg you couldent get through because my dad is on vacation with his phone....you did try to call 1-203-733-3980 correct if you could not get through to that number you can either wait untill wedsday and call that number again or you can just send a money order to the p.o box with a small note stating what you want.....or you can just PM me with your name and what you want a send the money order and we will send the order out asap!


P.S guys we just got a order of these in so if you want em, we got em! virtually no turn around time!
