just wondering what you guys thing would be better? im looking at getting either a box van or an enclosed trailer to go racing in. i have a fullsize gmc so an enclosed trailer wouldnt be that big of a deal. i will be installing living area in which ever i get and both will be around the 18ft size.

i thought of that, but i had a 32ft gooseneck with a matching chevy truck a few years ago, and it was a pain getting into places, i know an 18ft one wouldnt be as bad but i always enjoyed staying at the track in our old motor home.

we just got a 7x14 enclosed and it's got plenty of room. a box can is nice if your going to the races alone and don't have to take other quads or people.

Our box van is open to the back and My only concern is the fact that you will have your fuel tanks and gas cans in the same compartment that you ride in or really close to it. that can't be safe.

its just as safe as towing a trailer IMO. the backs usually dont have ac or anything, but just like everything else it can be added. i am pretty good at fabbing parts. and it would be about the same to put a somewhat living area into a trailer. ive had a trailer break off and hit the guard rail before. its usually just me going to the track, and the reason i havent been to any nationals is b/c i have no place to lock my stuff up. i could rely on friends buti hate putting my stuff in their way. i wish i had one th is past weekend, we had a local 2 day event. im going to really look it over and get ready to do somthing this winter.

here is a small pic of a box van for those that dont know.
