Which one would win in a straight drag with equal riders on hard packed dirt?

How long would the drag be?

I've ridden both and I would say the 450R would dominate in a short drag.

But obviously the DS would beat it on top.

It's been awhile since I've ridden a DS, so I can't really compare the quickness of either to each other.

I killed a new baja one several times at boxcar on the Oregon Dunes last night. I have no idea what he had becides paddles, but i have exhaust and an air filter. I killed a vforce and several banshee's too. I love my bike.

I've raced a couple highly moddified ones, one with a big bore kit, which i beat, and one with a stage 3 ron wood 690 kit, and I lost to it, but only by 2 bike lenghts. I never raced a stock 650 or even one with stock engine size, anyhow I would guess that yes, you'll beat it. Once the 450 startst to rev, its hard to beat.

My stocker was eating up the baja DS 650 all day long in the sand. I was running stock tires, and he had paddles.

I raced one in the sand also, and I had him at the start and never looked back. I never raced on on dirt yet.
