OK guys im looking at some Works Tripple Rates with cans the guy wants 240 shipped for them. But I also found some TCS's for 265 + shipping. The tcs's are dual rate comp. adjustable, with ressies. But there in rough shape and one of the comp. adjusters is sezied. Heres what he wrote:

" The shocks measure 16" eye to eye, they have spring preload adjustment and compression adjustment on reservoirs. The one {1} reservoir adjuster is siezed and needs to be replaced. The adjuster is set in the middle of adjustment and can still be used as a non adjustable reservoir. The shocks are not bent or leaking, they do have some minor rust on the springs. I recently purchased the shocks used and could not resolve problems with the seller. I did bolt them on my 86 250r and checked them out, they really soaked up the landings. "

So which sould i get?

new - hands down TCS..... but comparing these 2... prolly the Works.

both you will need to get revalved for your application. The TCS will cost a little more to get revalved & that reservoir adjuster fixed. in the end you will spend just a little more on the TCS but have a MUCH better shock. Why not dish out some extra $$$ now instead later?

patience dude. yep..the shocks will work on your application without the revalve...hell you may even like it & not care enought to spend more money. Just get them before I do!

Well i think i came to the conclusion that the TCS shocks arent SSD, Or any of that fancy stuff. Just plain dual rates thats comp adjustable. :(

I was looking at those TCS shocks on ebay too.. Looks like someone did a 'buy it now' or negotiated a buy.
