Does anyone offer foot pegs for the 400ex that are lower than stock? I wish I could drop mine an inch or 2. I've also heard 450r foot pegs bolt right up to the 400ex, is this true?

an inch or 2 is a WHOLE lot more than you would ever want to go. im not sure who makes them (i want to say roll) but some1 makes some that are a half and 3/4 inch lower than stock. why do you want them lower?

Yes I bought 450R pegs and bolted them up fine no modifications needed. I also mated up the stock 400ex heel guardsto work with them. Will post pics in a bit.

400ex and 450r footpegs will interchange!

roll/ims pegs are actually higher.

one thing gncc35 did was cut his stock pegs down as low as he could and then welded DeRisi Racing's extenders on. The did three things, lowered the pegs, provided better grip, and adds a kick up. it also adds just a bit more width to them.

hmmm, I think it'd be great if they could RAISE the pegs an inch. I think it would be easier to manuver for high leval motocross situations. Those 450R pegs look nice, I need new pegs too. I'm gonna keep my eye out for a set. How much did you pay for yours?

thanks!

I have long legs and wish the pegs were lower so I could stretch out some. Not a big deal but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask if such a peg is being produced.

I too am tall and really like to be able to stand comfortably while I ride. I bought the tallest bars available. My friend just bought the new AC Propeg Nerfs and I believe that you can switch the footpeg mounts which would lower the nerfs considerably.
