well i called the yamaha dealer to ask about age for working there, she said i had to be 16 im 17, that i would have to work in parts, she said i would have to know about motorcycle parts, anybody how much i have to know?

at my dealership all you have to know is how to **** things up. gave me the wrong gasket today.

As long as you know what the heck people are talkign about , you should have no problems reading micro fiches or diagrams off a computer . I started off in the snowmobile and atv parts business a little over 2 years ago .... knowing just the basics , and in that short period of time I have learnt a lot more . I'm not saying I'm an expert , I still learn things everyday , but I probably have more sledding knowledge than some of the guys that have been doing it for the last 15 years . If you get lucky like I did , in that 2 year period you might be able to move up into a management position ..... it's GREAT !!!!:devil:
