will a 400ex rear rotor fit a 300ex???

I bent my rear rotor on my 300ex and I can get a cheap 400ex wave rotor, but I wanted to make sure it would fit before I bought it. Thanks

The part numbers are different so I would say no.

it prob. will...i was told my honda that the front rotors from a 400ex would not fit on my 450r...they were wrong. They said it wouldnt work b/c the part #'s were different & so was the prices...lol. They just raise the prices on all the stuff for my new quad b/c they kno people will have to order from them b/c there is no aftermarket yet. Its worth a try. I think it will work but im not positive

I don't think so, the prices on all aftermarket rotors are the same. Some part numbers are the same from one bike to the other but in this case they are different.

oh...are some part numbers the same also with the stock parts? like the front rotors from one bike to the next...now that I think about it my 450r disk had like 3.0 something on it & the 400ex disk i ordered had 2.4 on it...i lined them up next to each other & they were the same thickness & everything & fit right on...was that thickness & that difference is so small it cant be measured by eye?

It's probally thickness but very minor difference.

I have one 2 used ones that I am loking at and they are different from the one that is one my 400. The 400 mounts with 4 bolts and the 300 uses only 3 bolts to mount with. They do look to be the same size. but the mounting bolts make a big difference. That is why there are different part numbers.
