I was riding out in the dunes this weekend and my kickstart lever fell off. I wheelied over, which killed it, I got back on to kick and once I did my lever stuck down by my brake lever. I pulled up on it and the whole lever came off. I lost the bolt or pin or whatever holds it on while riding. Just thought I'd let you guys know, watch that bolt and keep'er tight.

don't have any pics, just go look at the kickstart lever, you'll see the bolt that goes through at the base, mine just fell out and the lever slid right off.

I had mine "stick" all the way down and under the footpeg or brake lever one time. Of course it was the time I was showing a YFZ guy how easy it kicked over. Fortunately it hasn't happened since.

Mine fell off, lost the screw. I used a screw from the engine of a 110 honda atc for a week till I had the dealership replace the original one.

before I tightened mine I took the kickstarter off the bolt was way loose and I lubed the inside where the ball and spring are at and where the lever pivits and it glides better and it should stay on with the lock tight but i'm going to check it like the oil.

someone else posted the same info about the kick start being loose. So I went out to check mine and sure enough the bolt was ready to fall off. Thanks for the heads up though:D

I had the dealership replace my missing kickstart shaft bolt, which they replaced with a cheap off the counter bolt, but anyway, this weekend the OTHER screw came out and my kickstarter came off. I also lost the ball bearing and spring that goes behind it.... Locktite here we come.
