im just not up on the black plastic. After buying my 300ex back in 98 and a few days later riding it through tall grass it came out dull as crap. For anyone who really rides it, its going to be hard to keep it looking good.

but looking at the black brand new its tight...my dad wants one now for his first quad after seeing a picture of it in the new dirtwheels...wtf!!?!?!?...I told him to get something like a rincon or kfx700 but he wants the black trx450r...hes stoopid

I was at the dealer yesterday and saw the black R up close. It's tight. All black aint really my thing, but that bike looks sick;)

black plastic requires maintence that alot of trail riders, xc racers really cant do. i mean.. when you're hauling thru the woods its hard to keep black plastic good looking.. me on the other hand am mx only so the black plastic would be perfect to me.. and i think with the k&k graphics it would look mad sick :cool:

Black WILL show alot of scraches BUT depends on your riding ;)
