250x grounds

I've got a no start on my 250x. I replaced the wire harness because of many breaks and splices and the exciter coil which tested bad. Still no start.My coil and cdi both run on my buddies 300ex but not mine.Any suggestions? I have only one ground to chassis a green wire under reg. is that the only one?Sorry so long and thanks for any info.:confused:

The stator ohms out correctly also. I hate to give up on her!

the 300ex and 250x wiring harness is different u know?

Yeah but the cdi and coil were the same,so I could make sure they worked.

there's a ground wire "green" at the bracket where the cdi mounts and also one on the coil

My reverse switch tested bad, but that is not in ignition circiut is it? I hate to keep throwing parts at it.

are the reverse wires hooked up, if they arnt or bad that could be your problem, you do need these wires hooked up to start.
