& oil filters too & anything else you may need b/c they charge this crazy shipping & handling fee so if you do buy from them buy a bigger order

It is well worth the money to spend on aftermarket tie rods like Gt Thunder or others. DO you really want another stock one bent to ruin a good race?

from my understanding, honda intentionally made the tie rods weak so if you hit something they would bent, and not something more expensive like a steering stem or a-arm?

If your trail ridin and worried about money go stock. If you race don't waste your money on stockers.

This is a very complicated issue. As a XC racer I do know the feeling of loosing a race due to an incounter with a rowdy tree:mad: I also know the pain of having to buy a new steering stem from the impact with said trees cousin.Honda and other manufacturers purposley built tie rods to give in the event of contact with these unruley trees. So it's up to you new tie rods at $5 or $250 steering stem or $500 frame etc...

Rowlrag how did you bend your frontend?

Who me?:D

Well on of those trees you mentioned jumped out at Sparta and hit me in the right front tire, but the reason it bent was from the extra 200 pounds of mud clingin to the bike, kinda like hittin a nail with a tack hammer versus hittin the same nail with a sledge hammer.
