I think it was powroll, but Someone suggested to run an XR250R CDI box on a 400EX. Has anyone done this before? They said the ignition curve was much better, and that the rev limit was raised liek 800 rpm's. Just wanted to know if this has been tried yet?

most of the aftermarket 400ex rev boxes are this exact same part. . i have seen many people w/ this box that have LOTS of trouble trying to start thier quads. so much in fact, they have gone back to stock.

i beleive gthunder is working on a new cdi tho, may be worth checking in to. www.gthunder.com

The GT thunder rev boxes are different from others, they advance your timing (more power), raise your RPM limit (10,300), and don't have the starting issues, and most other companies do. All in all, the GT thunder rev boxes are the best.

Oh, ok, I was just lookign for a better ignition curve at a cheaper price. On the GT site, why isn't there much info on the boxes?
