if i would buy a lonestar +1inch swingarm would stock shock, carrier, and axle work. THE SWINGARM DOES NOT NECCESSARILLY HAVE TO BE AN LSR. IM OPEN TO ANYTHING ELSE THAT WOULD WORK.

yes it will work. go with a houser swingarm instead. The lonestars are prone to braking even though I have heard they have changed their original design for a stronger one.

Yes Everything will Work. You may want to Revalve your Stock Rear Shock though. If you don`t Weigh much, the Shock would be Ok though. I think the Stock Brake Line will Work too. The only thing you will have to do is put a Link in your Chain. Ask Rico how many you need to get. I would go with a Houser or Laeger Swingarm.

Ya houser is nice. Very strong but heavy. But i guess that means it will be strong.

All the Swingarms add Weight, but that`s Good. That means they are Strong. Go with Laeger or Houser.

houser is cheaper than lonestar and i think about the same as laeger so really its what you like better cause they are both good.

Just about all of the Swingarms are Good. Lonestars are $525, Laegers are $572, and Housers are $550. The Price is about the same on all Three. You just have to Choose one.

A stock shock will work fine with a +1 or +1 1/4 swingarm,,no revalving or anything,,maybe adjust the preload to make up the difference in sag,,but you will need to add 2 links to your chain if you go bigger on the swingarm length.

Rico, Will the Stock Brake Line Work? Are you still going to get a Houser Swingarm?

you could just get your stocker lengthened for $130. the company that done mine guarantees you it wont break. i called 3 companies that do it and none of them have ever seen one break. Honestly I plan to get me an aftermarket swingarm but I wanted to make sure +2 was what i wanted and i would much rather have $130 in a stocker lengthened that i was unhappy with than a $500 aftermarket one. If I like the length of the +2 ill prolly get me another one later

The swingarm will be +1 1/4 in red of course..:D

On the shocks,,I'll probably just get a dual rate spring for the rear,,that's all,,don't need anything else, this is so it has the SSD.
And triple-rate preload and compression on front,,with remote rezzy.... Once this trip to LBL and my basement is finished,,Me and Jeff at quad shop are gonna do some wheelin and dealin..:D

I think Rico needs better Shocks then Works. He Jumps Higher then those Works were made for. He will like the Elka`s a lot Better.

Hey Barry just thought I would give you another option. I have a Coltrain Motorsports swingarm that is +1.25. It is steel and kinda heavy but it is only $350. Couple hundred cheaper than the big name companys. I have not had a problem with mine and I also used the stock shock and it worked fine. Coltrain is in Denison, Iowa and (712) 263-2427 is the phone if you are interested. The stock brake line worked on mine but I had to take off the parking brake line. On the cut and extended swingarms for $130, they might work fine but one of my friends tried that first from one of the places that guaranteed it and his did break. But maybe they have improved their methods by now.

i hope so!! if it breaks,,,,oh well ill deal with that when it happens(if its during a race Ill cry!!!!!) Sandragon.com makes swingarms all the way to +10 and they are only $375. thats who I will get mine from if mine breaks or I dont like it!!!

Chad I don`t think you will have any Problems with your Swingarm. You are just Drag Racing. If you don`t Jump a lot it should be Fine, but you never know. If it Breaks then get a Sandragon or whatever.

Nacs- You would look stupid selling your 400ex for Starks 250x. It doesnt matter if it is modified you are still downgrading. But hey if you think all you need to be cool is a heavly moded quad buy it!
