Ok, I have front TCS shocks on plus 3 laeger a-arms. Now, it's time for the rear shock to go ZPS to match the front. Who does the best job/ offer the best value? I'd prefer to go with a TCS rear conversion, if posible, but if there is a better way to go, or a better value, let me know.

thanks!

One of my sponsors, McNett Performance specializes in PEP stuff and can do a rebuild, revalve whatever you want for a very respectable price.

If interested, shoot me a pm and I give you some contact info.:)

Baldwin does a full PEP ZPS rear conversion for 400-450 I cant remember which. When you get it back it will be mint and set up perfectly too. Mark definitely knows what hes doing with shock setups, and how could you go wrong, it's PEP! I think his turnaround time is around a week or 2 at most right now for conversions and rebuilds. I just got my fronts and rear revalved for a heavier A rider by him and it took a week... Visit the website or give him a call...

I was shootin for a $300 price range!!! :eek2:
I don't really want to spend 450 on a rebuild! I'd prefer a TCS rebuild also, to match my front TCS shocks.... I was just lookin to know if the TCS rebuild sucks, or if like Santo Derisi or somebody has their own ZPS conversion.

thanks

You could do a elka rear rebuild. It's about 350 from the Quadshop. Contact jeff@quadshop on this site.

The TCS rebuilds are fine to match your fronts. If it is less than what you would have to pay to get a conversion from Jeff then do it, if not I would rather have elka than TCS... It WOULD be cool to have the front and rear by the same builder though so I dunno what you want to do. To answer your question though, the TCS is usually a dual rate rear rebuild with a ZPS spring and they seem to work good...

you will get as many answers as there are shock builders, you cant pin down one shock builder/manufacturer as "the best"

i reccommend santo derisi...the best guy to talk to if you have any problems & quick turnaround time....www.derisiracing.com

I would try and stick with the same brand to set them up so they would match. I know C&D Racing sells TCS so you could check with them. The TCS and PEP rebuilds are more because they hard anodize the bodies.

I have only used axis, but I would say match up the front and rear both TCS. I know elka and PEP hard anodize their bodies like dave400ex said but hopefully TCS does too since it really does help from what Ive been told.
