Plastic Renew?

Hey guys. Im rebuilding a 1986 trx70. The plastics are red, but very faded. The plastics had stickers on them but they just fell off. That left the outline of the stickers on the plastics. Can you guys tell me how to get the scratches out and get the color back? I found plasticrenew ...does it work?http://www.rockymountainatv.com/home.asp?sid=0004305614

And what other solutions do i have? Thx for the help

its a lot of work. a lot. and after a while it fades and flakes off and looks way worse than it would have if you just left it. i would say. just sell the fenders you got and get some replacement maiers. 2cents

I would buy new ones, but i dont think they make plastics for a 1986 trx70 anymore.I cant find any other parts

after looking on the maier site i found the plastics. THEY ARE 180 for the front and 190 for the rear. screw that. Im doin the bike on low funds, i just need itto look good so i can sell it. Im just gonna clear coat them

I've had good luck with plastic renew, hasn't chipped or faded on me.

i used it on my 400ex it gets out the big scraches. but it leaves a bad finish but my freind did it on his white blaster and it worked fine so i think if you have a lite color fender you are OK..
