You could also get a B&M Racing or there is a New Skid Plate Company in Dirtwheels.

Pro-Tect is the way to go, it is strong and it just bounces off stuff.

RedRocket, How has your Rear Skid held up? Is it Bent or anything?

Has anyone used the AC one, if so what did you think of it?

It has held up great. It hasn't bent at all, it has a couple of small gouges and some marks but nothing else to speak of. I have had it for at least six months now and I have hit plenty of rocks and other junk on the trail with it, sometimes going really fast.
Every since I replaced my stock skidplate with the Pro-Tect one I have stopped avoiding things sticking up in the trail like I used to. If it is really big I try and miss it but if it is small I just drive over it and if I hit I don't worry about it too much because the skid plate just slides over the object.
It was well worth the money, I don't regret the purchase at all. It is well constructed and it mounted up to the swing arm perfectly.

I have the AC Skid and it is Ok. I have Hit some Rocks and Stuff and it is only Bent a little. For $65 Bucks I am Happy.

Thanks RedRocket. I think when my AC is Trash I will get a Pro-Tect.

I wouldnt buy a AC swingarm skid. Dont take any chances and get the PRM. I have them on all my bikes and i love it. I hit some pretty big rocks with it on my R and there is not a scratch on it!

I have the Armadillo in Rocky Mountain atv.. I love it. Its light, thick, and strong. The day I got it I put it to the test. I hit every rock I could see with it. Its about a year or more since I had it now.. a couple scratches in the bottom.. but never got one dent yet. It also came with a spacer to fit a bigger sprocket in the back if you ever want to go bigger. I would def recommend it to anyone shopping for a skid. Its decently priced too

Well if you want the Best Skid Setup get a Pro-Tect Full Skid and Swingarm Skid. Also Pro Armor looks very Good. Their Skids are 6061-T6 Aluminum Alloy. Nobody else uses that. They are about the same Price as Pro-Tect too.
