quad identification

my friend got this quad a few weeks ago and hes planning on restoring it. all we know is that its a yamaha. anyone recognize this oldie ? i have more pics if needed but i think this one gives a pretty good view of it.........

them look like blaster tires but the rest of the quad doesnt so its gotta be a moto 4

My neighbor bought one brand new back in 1980'something. It's funny to look back on it now when he tells me the story of why he chose it....He said that he walked in and saw it sitting next to a brand new Warrior. He looked at the Warrior and said something like "Man, that's a really nice ATV but why would anybody need something so fast". HAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHA
