How hard is it to get it done...You have to pull the engine out of the frame and everything....All the electrical out lets and hook ups...Right?....then put it all back togather...I have seen alot of people doing this and I wanna do it too......

You have to strip the frame bare of everything.

Take the 400EX down to just the Frame and have it Powdercoated. Why you have it apart I would have it Gusseted and then Powdercoated.

Thats when you weld in pieces of metal in the corners of the frame. It just braces the corner so that weld doesnt break. makes it alot stronger and bend resistant.

Texan32 got it Right. They Weld in Extra Pieces of Metal in Weak Spots on the Frame so it won` Crack, Bend, or Break. It is Worth the Money.

I can have it gusseted and powdercoated any color you want for $250. Thats cheaper than anywhere. Mine is at the powdercoating shop now. You have to be sure to take the bearings and seals out of where the steering stem goes in the frame. Anything that cant stand high heat must be removed. Im having my hubs powdered too and its a biatch to get the bearings out of them!! i wil have pics of it on the TC 505 post in the open forum here soon. im going back to the PC shop today so I will take my camera and take pics of my gusseting
