View Full Version : sprocket hub is loose, help

my sprocket hub on my rpm axle is loose, i beat it with a dead blow for 20 mins and it just slid back again, splines are fine it just slides back and i cant get my antifade on, anyone have a problem like this?

Mine moves too, the best way to go is to take it to your local honda shop, and have them press it back on. I didnt get it pressed on, I just installed it, and it doesn't move at all once everything is all put together. I don't have an anti-fade though.

thanks, i'm either gonna have it re pressed, if thatr doesnt work then im gonna order a new sprocket hub

A new sproket hub won't help. If you get it pressed, and it still moves.... Don't know what to tell ya. Mine moves from side to side a little when its off the quad, but once installed, it stays put.

i think its my problem, i bought a new carrier and antifade, went to put them on, and the antifade wouldnt alow enough room for the clip to seat it, everything was in place, and the only thing that didnt seem in place was the sprocket hub, so im hoping re pressing it fixes it
