c'mon now guys dont bust my chops on this one tho i still know its comming :p haha has anyone done that? put 400 LT arms with std shocks on a 300? wouldnt the 16 inch lt give you enough drop on the bottom of the shock to bolt it to the stock top mount and still get a reasonable ride height? i was sitting here thinking and i figured " hell why not?" ya know? also...why are LT arms soooo much more? there isnt but about 10-20 bucks in material (i havent priced chromoly in a while so it might be more than that now with the japaneese buying all the metal up) and some $40 ball joints. there is no need for them to be as much as they are especially being that there is little to no more material than std travel arms. didnt arens say they were going to make some LT arms for the reasonabl price (aka less than 600 bucks)? thanks yall, later

You are still trying to bolt on arms that aren't made for the 300ex geometery.

Yep wrong geomtery, thus bump steer. Plus when you put a-arms bigger than +2 on a 300ex it will start pushin into corners. But somebody needs to make Long travel shocks/ A-arms for a 300ex/250x.

When you say more than +2 will start to push, are you using a stock swingarm, and are you talking +3+1 or just +3? Just thought I would try and clear this up.

ive missed out on a lot the last about 6 months...i ended up getting into drugs real heavy... started skating to give me an excuse to go to my friends house to get high and got out of the wheeler deal... but thats not really the point (im done with that now i realized how my mom thought of me was more impt than that...)...if anyone has a thread where this was discussed thatd be cool. i know people were putting 400 stuff on a 300/250 left and right at one time. why does it make it push and create bump steer so bad?

yea that makes sence...a square doesnt know which way to go, it will slide all over the place but a rectangle will follow a path. do they make 3+1 arms for a 300/250?
