Hey everyone.. im more than in-love with the black 450R.. before someone buys the one at my local dealer-- are they limited? or will there be another one showing up at my dealer? please respond back

just to let you know,...the black scratches easy & looks bad after awhile..looks sweet new though

i just bought one last week and i raced it at the 6 hour race and it does scratch easy. but i am almost 100% sure they are not limited edition. check out www.honda.com

Not limited same price as red and will stay around as long as the red to.

well i found out a lil secert but i don't know if it works but i done it when i brought my 450r home after i took a ride on it. well this one kid told me if you wax your plastics befor you do anything with them. they won't trach up as bad. well we will see tomorrow after i come home.

if you shot a coat of clear coat over the plastics would that help with the stracthing?

the black 450r s will look like the hoods on the red ones like mine I'm afraid to even rub hard because any little thing will scratch it easily.

I've been through all of this before, DO NOT put clearcoat on your plastic. It will peel, and chip. I used the best clearcoat money can buy, and put more than one coat on it, dont do it. I also sanded and preped the plastic, and sprayed in a booth. I can post pics of what the bike looked like after I clearcoated it (insane), and what it looks like now. It ruined the looks.

Oh and by the way, clearcoat scratches almost as easy as plastic, its just not as noticable and you can buff it out.
