Z400 and 400ex shocks interchangeable?

just curious if z400 and 400ex front shocks are interchangeable without any modification?

no..the 400ex will go to the z400 & make it sit lower or something but the z's wont fit on the 400ex...right? :confused:

The Z shocks are wider at the mount so they will not bolt right up. I don't know why you would because the Z shocks are no better than the EX.

I was actually curious if my elkas would work on a z400

the top mount on the z400 shocks is alittle wider but not much. you can bend the mount out alittle and they fit fine. the bottom is fine if your putting 400 shocks on a z you might need some washers but it would work
