I am fairly new to riding I have rode 3 wheelers when i was little but i have only been riding a 400 for bout a month. Well any how, today my friends and I were talking turns seeing who could ride around the track today. In the attept to shave off a little time i winded it out to 4th gear and hit the brakes a little later than the previous lap. Where I started braking there was a long patch of grass well I slid all the way through the grass when I hit the track it was like Ice I slid a looooooong way turned the wheel to try and get it to turn but it just went straight with the wheels turned full lock to the left. I hit the front brake when it wouldnt turn just so i could slow down and stop. So the front and rear brakes are locked the wheels are turned and I'm still sliding I went in the field beside the track and missed a tree by inches. That was stupid of me but I have learned from my mistake. It seemed like I slid forever and the whole time all I saw was that tree coming toward me. I got really lucky.

You may want to bail off next time.

i think if you let off the brakes it stops sliding, just remember that next time, unless you were turning or something and the back end just started sliding around
