synthetic oil?

Is it safe to run a synthetic oil in my 450r. I would probably run Castrol syntec in the motor oil side and regular gastrol in the trans any thoughts????

i dont know about castrol but the mobile 1 red cap 15w-50 is what I use & reccommend to others ;)

You should be able to run synthetic in the engine, but run non-synthetic in the tranny. I run torco semi-synthetic in the tranny and castrol/valvoline in the tranny.

i run KLOTZ in mine 10-w40 in both motor and tranny and the bike runs like a champ.

i do change the motor oil every ride though

they claim there lube is better than any on the market today performance wise.
