i rode it for about 2 minutes, just long enough to get it out of a tight spot stuck on a steep hillclimb for my friend, but omg.. that thing was like riding a horse... bareback.

not the suspension or anything... but the seat, and ergonomics.. jeez it feels like the seat is 2 feet higher then my ex other than that it seemed like a nice bike but i dont think i could ever get used to it

are all the bikes like that (suzuki and kawi)?

SHOCKER

The seat is almost as hard as the YFZ seat, but Id have to say that the ride height is the same as my other buddies Z400. I wonder why more people dont adjust the ride height on them things:rolleyes:

Say What! no way.... The yfz seat is like sitting on a 2x4 and is the #1 complaint about it besides all the electrical bugs.

the 450r's seat isnt that much better

the AC seat is like sitting on a 2 year old loaf of bread. hard, but not as thin as the YFZ seat.

the 450r seat is better than both of them.

but not that much better

When i rode a friends Z400 it felt high too but i think its the front fenders that make you feel that it is

im glad everyone feels the same as i do about their ergonomics. Everyone complained when the 450r came out about it sitting high and feeling tippy, but i really dont feel likes its as bad as the z400.

Neither the z400 or 450r can even compare to the worst handling sport quad ever made, the Raptor. I hated my raptor because of it. And because of the fact that it was always broken.

hahaha yes. I went from that Raptor to my 450r and the 450r didnt feel tippy at all. My 450r is faster too. My roomate still has his raptor, but only because yamaha financing sucks and he still owes a lot of money on it. Hes waiting on suzuki to put out their 450 quad and to make some more payments.

Ya, I think it is a combination of the fenders and the seat. I could not get used to it. It is the same way on all 3. (suz/kaw/atc)

(edit: I see your Z isnt stock....of course your handling is prob. good, you have +2 aarms & a +3 axle...were talking about stock quads homeboy)
