I've read on this site that raptor rear shocks will bolt onto a 300ex. When that is done, does the quad sit higher? how does that work with stock front shocks shocks? do the front shocks work too, or from a different quad? I like jumping and riding on mx tracks, but idk if i'll race much or not. I'd just like a cheap way to upgrade my shocks, thanks

Raptor rear shocks work, but only the 2001 year with the remote rezzy. Everything after that has a piggyback rezzy, and it won't fit. I've heared that its just as good as works, if not better.

I don't think the fronts work, but i'm not sure. 400ex fronts work.

yup i had it and i couldnt believe the diffrence it made,it actually lowered it about a inch but you can't even tell...and it bolts right up,and for the fron they got a shock relocator thing, and you just but that and you can use 400ex or 250r shocks

Raptor front shocks won't work but like the others said, 01 Rear shock works great.

You can either run a 400EX spring or the raptor spring. I run the 400 for a softer ride and it sits about 1'' lower than stock with sag. The raptor will bring you up about 1'' over stock and is suppose to be better for jumping. I now have Elka fronts so I can balance out the ride height.

You need a custom bracket to make them fit since they are much longer than 300ex shocks.

We have done a few of the raptor shocks on the 300ex and on the warrior it works great. One thing that we have seen alot of is the blatter in the remote rezzie on the 2001 raptors failing so make sure if you by one off of ebay that it is in good working order.

thanks guys. how does a 300 ride with factory front shocks and a raptor rear? would i need to upgrade my front shocks and if so what would be the cheapest way to go about this. Most aftermarket shocks i price are aweful expensive.

The front will handle as always. Upgrading them will make a huge handling improvement.
