Anybody have any idea of a top speed for an '92 (I think thats his year, I'm asking for a friend) stock 250X?

i'd say it is probably Around the speed of a 300ex. probably 52-55 mph stock. you can trick em out pretty sweet though.
i was actually looking at a 92 250x that was very modded and reallllly nice, but i didnt have the money. it probably hit 57-58 mph.

I'm Pretty Sure Mine Doesn't Go 50mph.... It Seems Like It Has No Top End Though... So What The ****??? Its Jetted Good (Plug Looks Great & Revs Nice ...etc) But She Has No Topend Like That , i Am Gussing 40 - 45.... 45 Pushing It. It Has Stock Sprockets On It 13/38 & I Weigh About 175lbs.... Is This All I can Expect? - How Can I Tell If It Is Advancing All The Way?

its an 88 & it has good compression... i checked that when i bought it about a month ago.... 184 on the gauge.... specked out at 170 - 190 so thats not the prob..

dirtwheels tested it with gps and say it did 56 mph stock and the warrior 59.5 but thats dirtwheels

All I Can Say Is hmmmmm......... CDI Box??? I Spose I Can Pull Off My Buddies CDI Off Of His & Give It A Whirl , It Wont Hurt Anything , Cuz I Know It Isn't Going That Fast Top End.... Process Of Elimination Now I Guess. Thanks
