my 300ex transmission

i was taking my 300ex case apart and i am putting it back together and the left side case will not go on it will go over the reverse and the part by the clutch will not close

you're supposed to put the crank in the left case first and then put the right case on. the left side crank bearing has a tighter fit than the right, so if you're trying to put the left case on last its gonna be a tight fit.

is the left crank bearing on the crank or in the case?

id just take it apart and double check everything you did
