Got a ticket, what to expect?

I got ticketed for doing 54.2 in a 35 zone. It was about 10:20 PM. I've had my license for alittle over a year, never been in any kind of trouble with the law or got pulled over for anything else. The fine is for $152, think they'll take my license or suspend them or anything?

nah, first offense.

you'll get points on yer driving record and have to pay the fine. thats about it.

if u can get into driving school i suggest doin that...i got one for 83 in a 65 and paid 35$ to go to driving school(4 hours of boring stuff) and it doesnt go on ur record and ur insurance doesnt go up

mine was like 8 hours...on a Saturday! :(

at least the instructor lady was way cool, and pretty funny. kinda made the class go by quick.

I took my driving school online at trafficschooltogo.com. Paid the fine and the ticket never went on my record cause I did the traffic school. Took me about 45 minutes to do it online. Skipped through all of the reading material, just took the quizzes. Multiple choice out of 4 and there is always one obvious answer. So, breezed through quizzes and final exam in no time and had it done with.

mine was for a reckless driving, not a speeding hehe.

I just found out who the Judge was going to be, then called him and he tore my ticket up since it was my first offense

I got a ticket in GA on my way to FL for going 76 in a 70 Nc took my DL for 6 months my insurance went way up and i had to pay 190 bucks.

all of that for 6mph over:eek2: damn....buddy of mine and I got pulled over for going 85 in a 40, cop lets us off with 59 in a 40. The difference in money wise between the tickets was a good $300;)

chit 85 in a 40 we got caught on quads going like 60-70 mph in a 25 lol and only got $110 my moms an EMT and knows some cops! we got very lucky he dropped 3 other charges on us!

Dahm Cops! :D I wrote one two years ago doing 175 mph in a 65 mph on a Suzuki Busa.

um he went to jail that night, $ 1,950.00 in fines and court costs and the book thrown at him. The judge was a little harsh even after I dropped some charges.

My first was a 60 in a 45, not bad, ticket no points
My second was a 95 in a 55 running late on the way to school
and reckless I guess anything 22 over is a reckless...ya that one was bad, kept my licencse tho, just gotta behave.

My first ticket was failure to yield at a stop sign. The thing about it was that the cop thought I ran a stop sign about 3 miles back. It was dark, this car was on my ***** hardcore, I couldn't see his headlights in my rearview. I came up to the stop sign, slowly rolled through it, cop pulled me over, $119. All tickets in Kansas tripled 2 years ago!!!!!
