pay to play in RI

im going down to the new RI track called pay to play tomorrow... anyone else goin?

im going with FTR250rnif and pete_yfz sunday.....i ride an black and red 300ex with cut fenders and im a fatarse...(cant miss me) and ill also be with a yfz with cut platic and an 01 yz125 with LBZ graphics....come over and say hi if ya want!

its located off rt.14 in johnston.

he doesnt have a website up, but has a forum on www.nedirtbikes.com , you should sign up there and see all the posts and whatnot

i use to ride trails until I parted my XC 400ex out. now I just stick to the tracks. pay to play is a track facility, but he is looking to expand it to woods riding as well once things get going more.

Wow I just checked out the forums on NE Dirtibikes and I now realize that I live 3 or 4 minutes away from this track. It's like my own backyard! I think that this is the spot where me and my friends used to do donuts in the dirt @ 3 AM, while it was being built!

hey 2000ex its exit 4 off 295 south take a right go about 1and1/2 miles there will be joes gazebos on your right the street is right there its an industrial park go down almost to the end and its an open gate on your left.cant miss it. I was there sat on my 450 and its awsome. plan on being there this sat.

Sounds like what Griff used to have us help out doing when uxbridge first opened....that place was FULL of rocks. We could ride for $5 but had to help them pick out rocks for a few hours...too bad they may be closing down :(

take the ma pke to rt 146 south and follow till 295 south and take exit 4,which is r 14 west.follow about a mile and a alf and take a right at gazebo joes and follow till almost the end and go thru the open gate on the left.i would figure an hour and 20.unless its quicker to cut straight across ct but you cant beat the ma pike

Actually guys, I was wrong in saying this. It was actually another construction site in which my friends rode in. I went to see if I could find the track today and I took the right turn before the gazebo place. This road is the actual road to the landfill. The dirt area where we went in was not even developed, just a wide open stretch of dirt and we didn't disrupt anything. I'm sorry for the confusion and I would never try to vandalize someone's property. I actually haven't seen this track yet, but I am quite excited. How does experience affect the riding there, because I have never been on a track before?

I am sorry if someone was riding on your land, but it was certainly not me. Is your place on a dirt road DIRECTLY across from LINEX RI? This was just a simple dirt ground at the end of Peck Hill. It didn't resemble a MX track, but it was the only dirt area in that section that I thought of. I know realize that your place is not on Green Hill Rd. near the recycle plant, but that it is farther up Shun Pike.

If you wish to see for yourself, tomorrow, follow this path and it will lead you to an empty dirt field. This is precisely where we basically drove in to see what was up the dirt road and then my friend did a burnout in the sand with his truck. Then, we left.

BTW, at the end of Green Hill Road, you come to Shun Pike. At this intersection, on your right, are a few large boulders. They are not, however, blocking the entrance to the sand hill. You drive in and you're at an open dirt pile. At the time, we were not actually breaking any laws as this was not private property, nor was it marked off for anything. See for yourself!

As if the equipment, fill, land, and your time are not worth the small price of riding time alone...not to mention the cost of insurance......people should be ashamed of themselves. :mad:

A person in a small shed by the entrance collecting money might not be a bad idea since people are alredy taking advantage of your efforts.

I met you a few weeks ago and can see the passion you have for the sport, and wish you the best of luck. There are not many people who act on their ideas and it is obvious you have some great plans for the riders in New England

two for now (he's gonna connect them and make one big track for the races) and a flat track i think along with a type of TT track. Its basically going to be the ultimate motocross complex. After you get your two 15 min sessions for $30 or $35 you should stop by pay to play and ride for as long as you want. You could probly drive down in between sessions and ride at PTP:D

i believe he was charging $15 for the kids. I went to uxbridge today. track was rough when i got there, but then the owner asked how we liked the track and went out and fixed it after our suggestions. it was a blast but the rocks there are just never ending.

Gary you can expect me and my family at that town meeting!. This sucks and I am so pissed, not just cuz that we cant ride but because of how much work you put in to this track! its all bull****..greedy town reps i hate them..I hope for the best:(

Hey Gary, im going to try my best to make the meeting, btw im Jay's friend with the white/red YFZ. The track is awesome, funnest track ive ever ridden, and isnt in a residential area. Theres no reason to not have this open to the public.
