I just ordered an HMF slip on and i was wondering what kind of gains i should expect and if i made the right choise, oh yah- does the quiet core really make a difference and does a 155 main sound right for sea level? thanks alot!

i don't know from experience, but i was told the spark arrestor does make a difference. a keihin 152-155 sounds good. yes, the hmf should make you :) .

HMF with quiet core is a nice choice. I've been running one for about 2 months now and i'm really happy with it. I have a 155 dynojet installed with it right now. 2 inch hole in the airbox lid.

The spark arrestor is nothing but a little screen.....it makes no difference:p

The HMF is a great choice man!! You will be very happy with your choice. And I ran a 155 mj with a K&N and it seemed to be good. If you have a stock filter, it may be a little rich, so take your lid off;)

you may want to put some lock tight on the allen bolts that hold the end cap on.....mine came out, but i love the pipe.

it was a great chioce! i've had mine for 4 months now and it made my quad a wheely machine. i can pull a wheely in 3rd with very little effort. i have a 175 with open air box and runing a little rich. i'm at about 700 ft above sea level
