yea,

i just bought a pro design tether kill switch for my 2004 400ex.... and i was reading the instruction "paper" on the installation and they want me to wire this thing diretly to the stator. what is that? now one of my friends bought a used 400ex...it came with the kill switch installed... and this thing was wired into one of the main wire tubes that run along the side of the frame....he claims that you just have to splice one of the wires in that main tube and wire them together (while the other wire is on a ground on the frame)... the only problem is that he never asked the guy which wire to splice... so this is my question.... what wire do i splice if this actully works? because i do not feel like hookin this to the stator ......thanks for the help

i believe it is a green and a black/white wire that comes out of the black control box on the handle bars..cut those two wires, strip them and splice them to the tether wires ....adn there u go

heres the instructions...dont use one of those cheap connectors though, just cut the wire and splice them together, solder them together and heat shrink wires so you dont get any water in there.
