i run the 113 in my 416 with a hotcam stage2 it was just rebuilt its broken in now but i noticed the exhaust tip has alot of black carbon build up and i have only been riding it for a week i pulled the plug and its a perfect color i was wondering if race gas has a tendency to do this because of the lead????

What compression are you running? 11:1 is the cut off for pump gas(premium). Anything higher will require race fuel. This is because the at the higher compression the gas needs more oxygen in the fuel for a better burn. If you are running a lower compression than 11:1 or at 11:1 most likely you are taking advantage of the higher octane because your engine can't burn all of the fuel which in turn may cause more carbon build up. Correct me if im wrong or if I'm on the right track lend your opinions.
