my question is pretty easy. i have an 04 400ex. when i start it i put the choke half on. it fires up fine. then when i walk away to let it warm up n close my shed it dies. It runs fine when its warmed up. Im almost positve its thje jetting but i dont kno if that means its too lean or too rich. Should i turn the fuel air mixture in or out? i set the idle when it was warmed up so thats fine

if it dies when the bike is cold, i would try to turn the fuel screw out a 1/2 turn or so.

it is a bronze colored screw located on the bottom of the bowl. you will turn it with a small flat blade screwdriver.

Sounds like nothing is wrong. Once your bike is warmed up enough the choke will kill it...you just need to turn the choke off fast enough. That's what it sounds like it's doing.
