i ride very hard, rocky mountain trails mostly. i have an 02' 400ex and i was looking for some good opinions on some aftermarket a-arms and shox. i'm willing to spend about $600-800 on each. i'm 190 pounds and pound the hell out of myself and my quad. i dont want to feel so beat up at the end of the day.

sounds like you need a burgaurd set up with some elka shocks w/o rezzies

jd-perfomance a-arms arent very expensive and are very well made, and you can get TCS triple rate, zero preload w/ rezzies set up for your weight and riding style for $700 from Bob at magnolia

I paid 1300 for jd performance and elka ssd comp adjust. You can get a houser and elka setup for a little more. +2 a arms.
