Anyone ridden in Glamis lately. I think im goin out there in August. Is it too hot to ride?

It is definitely hot out there, around 110 during the day. We are going for a night ride on Saturday, July 31. We ride until about 2 or 3 a.m. then get a few hours of sleep and ride from daybreak until it gets real hot then bail.

I went out to plaster city on sunday and it was 110 by 10:30 in the morning we left at 11:30 it was 115

Dang, that is insanely hot. I don't think that I will be heading out there any time soon.

I went to Glamis this morning. It's really not that bad until about 11am or Noon. I arrived there at about 8 AM... it was in the 80s or so.

I have an EZ-Up canopy that I brought along. It really helps, because there is a decent breeze.

I won't lie.. it's hot. But if ya gotta ride... ya gotta ride. If you do go during daylight... early to mid mornings are the only bearable times.

Rode from Plaster City to Superstition a few weeks ago. Started at 6:00am and was finished by 8:30am.
Can't wait for October.
